We started off in the city by walking past the pink house to the Bicentennial Museum, which is an underground exhibit of the old tunnels from when there was a fort here guarding the coast (the coast is now several kilometres away having been in filled). It has good exhibits explaining the geographical and political changes that have taken place.

From here we walked through to Puerto Madero which is the old docks area and is now a new area of shiny glass, steel and concrete. There is also a big park there which is where we headed first. I got completely side tracked by the smell of chorizo being grilled over charcoal (chiropan), so we had to have one of those from the many stalls along the path. The park itself was nothing special, just swamp really but the snag was brilliant.
Snaggers
After a very long indirect stroll, we came to the Fortabat art gallery. Basically it is the private collection of BsAs wealthiest woman. A real stand out of the galleries so far and the building was well funky.
We headed home after this with extremely sore feet, 6 hours of walking on concrete will do that.
