We woke to cloudy hills, but you could get a look at them occasionally. It had really snowed over the last 24 hours, with the snow line far below what it had been previously.
After a quick breaky we packed up the car and drove into Puerto Natales.
We caught a bus across the border to El Calafate. The trip was pretty uneventful, mainly passing through dry vast and empty countryside.
The only downside was the woman just across from us throwing up every hour (she had inhaled a huge packet of chips and half a packet of chocky biscuits just before we left, so what do you expect).
After 5 hours bus trip we hit town, found our hotel, booked a car for tomorrow and went for dinner across the road. Very tired.
