Good Morning Leoben. Cake for breaky, breaky the Austrian way.
Today we went for a walk, up a hill. Thomas and Patricia picked a hill and off we all went, including their gorgeous red setter dog, Bono. We went for a walk through the pine forest and did a bit of up. Even the dog got tired after about 2 hours and seemed to be glaring at us all. Rightly so as we could have driven to the top and saved our legs. Really, it was a lovely walk, the sun was out and the views over the towns lining the valley quite spectacular.
At the top we had some lunch. Mind you didn’t really feel like eating straight away as we were hot and sweaty. But after cooling down we had a beer and a bowl of soup, it was really nice.
One the way down at one point, Bono decided he’d had enough and just lay beside the road, sensible dog. Was probably thinking why didn’t we drive up.
All four (plus the dog) were rather tired by the time we got home, and we sat around looking tired whilst eating dinner. Just waiting until it was bed time.
It was a tiring day, but a lovely day. Nice to do some sort of exercise too.
