Off back to merry old London today, but as we were in the district, we thought we’d see Stonehenge. If you’ve seen a postcard you’ve pretty much seen it. It was rubbish, Wave Rock is more interesting. The audio guide you get isn’t much better. It basically tells you here is a pile of big stones, we don’t know why it was built or why they kept rearranging it, but here is a very longwinded description of it.
We then jumped on the motorway back into town. Motorways rock after a week after driving on A and B roads just wide enough for a single car. Dropped the car off and then back to do some washing. Sumo had the day off so we ended up sitting on the Green drinking Pims in the sunshine. The Green was heaving as it’s the first patch of sunshine in 11 months. Sunburnt naked geezers everywhere.
